    Default Get to Talking!!!

Hello all. NoogyMan here. It was brought to my attention that some people didn't know how to log into Ventrilo. So I'll take this thread to explain how you can work various things in ventrilo and how to get in the N/U vent.
    Getting Started and Logged In:

To get started what you will do is go to this website:
    Ventrilo - Download
And Download the appropriate Client program.

Once you've completed that you will double click the ventrilo Icon. A small window should open and it will look something like this:

Once you've gotten this far it should not be that hard to figure out. Go under User Name by pressing the arrow to the right, and press the New button and type what nickname you would like to go by.

After you've set your User Name go to Sever also by clicking the arrow to the right hand side. Press the new button and what you would like to call that ventrilo server (the information i'm going to give you is the n00bunlimited Vent.) and once you've done that you will put the following information where it correctly belongs:

    Hostname or IP: 174.120.122.166
    Port Number: 4327
    Password: Unlimited

Now following this you will press the Ok button at the bottom. Than press Connect, which is the top button to the right, this will connect you and it will look something like this :

You will end up connecting the the N/U vent. You may join any channel that you are allowed to join by double clicking on that channel title. To set your setting you will go to the right hand side of your ventrilo window and press the Setup button. There you can chose your own personal settings. Such as "Push to talk" and setting a hotkey to press in order to activate you mic. Also you should take the liberty to set your Inbound which is how loud you hear people and Outbound how loud people hear you. You will have to tinker with the Inbound and Outbound until you can get it perfect.

    Different Little Tips:
You may also wonder how to copy someone comment. You first Right Click on that person's name and go down to Miscellaneus and go to copy comment. You have just succesfully copied that person's comment.

You may also lower a person's volume on your end. Say if they are loud to you and no one else. You first Right Click on that person's name and go to Miscellaneus again, this time click on Special effects. There you will see a list of different things to do. You click on Volume and raise or lower that person's volume to a point where they are louder or softer.

I hope this helps anyone that needs it. Any Questions feel free to contact me via:
